Week 6

In the sixh , it was very hard for me , because we had exams . We also did the evaluation about speaking( It was a travel agency), writting ( It was a Monkey`s Paw and writting a text using everything we learned ).



We learned the use of Used to and Would .

Used to 

Example :

I used to live in Ubate.


Would

Example ;

I would play video games with muy grandmother .

Week 5

In the week five , we learned the use of just,yet and already with the presente simple. We preform exercise in class.

We learned new words ( lorry, motorbike ,voyage ,moped ) and we finish the Unit 10, we learned some customs worldwide.

For example:

We learned the use of Verbs with two objects .

Week 4

In the week four ,we review  the use of modal verbs (can't could and be able to).


Can : Is used to talk about ability in the present.
Example:

She can speak many languages

Could : Is used to talk about general ability in the past in positive.
Example:

I could draw when I was six years old.

Be able to : Is used to talk about general abillity in the past in negative
Example:

I was able to finish the book in less than five hour.

We learned to convert adjectives to adverbs of manner.
Example :

- Bad -- badly
- Dramatic-- dramatically
- Dull -- Duly
- Busy- Busily

Week 3

In the third week ,we learned  the use of Passive Voice and Active Voice. We practixe exercise and I wrote a text describing a tractor ,then we learned about pharasal verbs(take someone out, grow apart from someone, break up , put up with, split up with and get over it) and we read a text about Usain Bolt . He is incredible. He is the fastest man in the world.

We did a review of the Unit 8, too we learned the use of the prepositions of time AT,ON,IN and BY . We learned  new vocabulary for example :

Rush  hour

Speeding

Be on the go

Lightning

Shoelaces

Week 2

In the second week, we learned the use of the Gerunds and Infinitive and practice pronunciation the difference word. The class was funny. Everything we said sounded strange, for example banana , we sounded as MINIONS.

                         

After , we learned conditional cero is used for things that are always true,  we learned the rules for Gerund and Infinitive . Too , we learned the use of stop, remember, forget and try in gerund and infinitives, but I think what is a difficult theme of learning.

Week 1

In the first week, the teacher made an introduction on the topics to work in the course of English, we did a review of the unit six , the use of may , might ,will in predictions , countables and uncontables nouns and vocabulary the geographical features , too we united phrases , I liked his activity .Afther in our home , we write a text about the future , using may and might , too we learned the use the first conditional and we practice in class the shwa. I think that it was important to review the themes of unit six, because with the previous teacher I am not very clear about the use of will , may and might , too , I think it is important to use the shaw , because it is good to pronounce the words.

We read about Mandela`s Garden .
